It is here! It is here! (Almost) Get ready to experience the next wave of fun…The Digital Age...My Digital Studio – oh my goodness – you are not going to believe your eyes and what they are seeing on your own monitor. With this fabulous software, you will save money like never before. Remember my motto: “Why print it twice, when you can print it once”…makes sense if you give it a moment. For everyone the advantages to MDS are:
  1. For those of you that are not ready to take the next step, you can plan what your project will look like with various colors and embellishments, before you get out your materials.
  2. MDS uses Stampin' Up's exclusive colors, stamps, and embellishments. Nice! No guessing!!
  3. A great selection of digital stamps come with the program, and more will become available through downloads.
  4. You can print your creations at home – in jour jammies if you like! or you can have them professionally printed through our vendor.
  5. Scrapbook pages can be printed individually, or
  6. You can have an entire book printed and bound.
In addition to scrapbook pages, you can print cards and calendars--perfect for gifts! Come on, fess up…did you ever go on a trip and come back with more pictures than moments in the actual trip? Go ahead, you can say yes, because I have done it myself. No problem for MDS… just pop the photos into the pre-designed layouts, add some text journaling and – The End. Just as if you spent hours and hours on the project by hand. Hybrid it up with some embellishments after it is printed and you are good to show off your vacation scrapbook. Really. It is that easy. I am in the process of becoming a Certified My Digital Studio Demonstrator and will walk you through every step of the way in creating your very own My Digital Studio project. Watch for its arrival on October 1, 2009. Schedule your next party for October, November, or December and have a chance to earn the MDS Software for HALF PRICE… Go to my website and email me to schedule your next gathering and watch for the samples…

Laura - The Stampin' Soldier

So - I have "adopted" this Soldier serving in Afghanistan. I have been following her blog for almost the entire time she has been blogging, and saw that she LOVES Basic Grey 6x6 pads and all the stuff that matches. I just had to send her some...went online to BG and sent one of everything. Mainly because they ship to APO and FPO addresses, and alot of other online stores do not. Why, I could not hazard a guess. It seems to me that they would, should, and should be ashamed that they don't - but that is another soap box for another time. Aren't these soldiers the ones protecting us??? Why wouldn't ANYONE want to send something to one of them. It's not like they have a Mikes or a Joann's on the corner of SCUD Missile Lane and IED Blvd... So, mosey on over to Laura's blog and see her beautiful cards. Following this soldier's blog will make you feel good. Best part of it...her husband, Vince, is also stationed over there and he makes cards, too. Manly, yes, but I like them, too. No bows. Just Ace of Spades kinda cards. Thanks for visiting!

Back from CHA - Orlando

What a fabulous time I had. Can't begin to tell you all the goodies I saw. Spent a bit of cash and made two trips to the car. A feat in itself, since the parking was in another part of the universe, and I am to impatient to wait for the shuttle...logic: walking is good exercise, so just do it... Spent the night and went back for classes and more "walking" LOL...here are two of the make and takes I enjoyed. We even got to keep the stamp set from Taylored Expressions. Very cute and just in time...I am on a "little birdie" kick, and can't get enough "birdie" stamps. I really liked the one we made using the Quickutz border...the colors were so "me". Thanks for visiting.

Might have to take more of his classes...here's a sample of what we made... On the way to CHA this Friday...such an addict...but at least I am not alone. Tee Hee

Paint Shop Pro Ultimate is Fab!!

I came across this old picture of my son when he was about 3 years old. (That would be 32 years ago...) Just was sick at the condition of it and thought I could repair it. With a few clicks, it's good as new. I love PSP and all its gadgets!!

Flower Fancy

This card was designed using both the masking technique and the Stamp-A-Majig from Stampin Up! I used the beautiful Flower Fancy Stamp Set featured in the 2009 Spring and Summer Idea Book (pg 80) along with the new In Colors featured in the 2009-2010 Fall and Winter Idea Book. These are the most fabulous colors of Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo. The images are stamped on my all time favorite Whisper White and embellished with a beautiful white Organza Ribbon and bow. Thanks for looking!

Out To Loot

Some friends and I participated in the Tampa Bay Scrapbook Treasure Hunt and one of the contests was a "Cover Your Cover" contest - this is my design. I think it turned out pretty good. The winner for this contest wins by the number of votes her particular cover gets from those viewers of the website where these submissions are posted. Go there, ladies and gents, and VOTE for ME...I think mine is the best, but then, I would. You can see that the pirates have left the ship and are out to lunch...oops...out to loot....BWAHAHAHA...it is done completely with the Silhouette and inks. Lots of good prizes this year...will let you know what I win.
