It is here! It is here! (Almost) Get ready to experience the next wave of fun…The Digital Age...My Digital Studio – oh my goodness – you are not going to believe your eyes and what they are seeing on your own monitor. With this fabulous software, you will save money like never before. Remember my motto: “Why print it twice, when you can print it once”…makes sense if you give it a moment. For everyone the advantages to MDS are:
  1. For those of you that are not ready to take the next step, you can plan what your project will look like with various colors and embellishments, before you get out your materials.
  2. MDS uses Stampin' Up's exclusive colors, stamps, and embellishments. Nice! No guessing!!
  3. A great selection of digital stamps come with the program, and more will become available through downloads.
  4. You can print your creations at home – in jour jammies if you like! or you can have them professionally printed through our vendor.
  5. Scrapbook pages can be printed individually, or
  6. You can have an entire book printed and bound.
In addition to scrapbook pages, you can print cards and calendars--perfect for gifts! Come on, fess up…did you ever go on a trip and come back with more pictures than moments in the actual trip? Go ahead, you can say yes, because I have done it myself. No problem for MDS… just pop the photos into the pre-designed layouts, add some text journaling and – The End. Just as if you spent hours and hours on the project by hand. Hybrid it up with some embellishments after it is printed and you are good to show off your vacation scrapbook. Really. It is that easy. I am in the process of becoming a Certified My Digital Studio Demonstrator and will walk you through every step of the way in creating your very own My Digital Studio project. Watch for its arrival on October 1, 2009. Schedule your next party for October, November, or December and have a chance to earn the MDS Software for HALF PRICE… Go to my website and email me to schedule your next gathering and watch for the samples…

Back from CHA - Orlando

What a fabulous time I had. Can't begin to tell you all the goodies I saw. Spent a bit of cash and made two trips to the car. A feat in itself, since the parking was in another part of the universe, and I am to impatient to wait for the shuttle...logic: walking is good exercise, so just do it... Spent the night and went back for classes and more "walking" LOL...here are two of the make and takes I enjoyed. We even got to keep the stamp set from Taylored Expressions. Very cute and just in time...I am on a "little birdie" kick, and can't get enough "birdie" stamps. I really liked the one we made using the Quickutz border...the colors were so "me". Thanks for visiting.

HALLOWEEN is coming...

Granted, it may be a bit early for some of you out there to even think of Halloween, but it's never to early for me. I LOVE Halloween. I am in several Halloween themed swaps over at Splitcoast Stampers and wanted to share the Card front with you. It's one of my own...Digital Designs For You By Me Liz...and I like it. The background graphic is one I have had for a long time and never had the right opportunity to use it. I used the black cat and fairy to accentuate that spookier than spooky moon...and then I used some corners that I recolored and re sized for a little more pizzazz...Let me know what you think...comments always help the creativity...

Western Theme Card Swap

Today I received the cards from the Western Theme Card Swappers!! YIPPEE...Click here to take a peek Created this card last week (before the BIG YUCKIES got me) for a Western Theme Card Swap. The one I submitted used Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 to vary the opacity of the two images I used. One being a photograph of my father with one of our horses, taken in 1983 in Elmira, NY and the other was a scanned image of a western card I had purchased in Colorado Springs during my visit there in 2003. Layering the two images created just the look I was going for. Hopefully, the participants in the swap will forgive me for being ill and late with the mailing of the cards.

Coastal Cabana Card Designs ~ Exclusive

Please take some time to visit Coastal Cabana in Dunedin. It is a fabulous chic seaside shop that has some of the most beautiful home accents EVAH!! In addition, the owner, Lisa, has asked me to design a line of cards exclusive to her shop. Exciting! This is one one of the cards I designed and presented for her consideration. The background paper for this card was created by spritzing Stampin Up! Night of Navy Ink Refill on my water color paper; spritzing again untill the paper was just the way I wanted it. Beachy. I think it is beautiful and is totally complimented by the Night of Navy ink used for the samped image. TFL!!
