Laura - The Stampin' Soldier
So - I have "adopted" this Soldier serving in Afghanistan. I have been following her blog for almost the entire time she has been blogging, and saw that she LOVES Basic Grey 6x6 pads and all the stuff that matches. I just had to send her some...went online to BG and sent one of everything. Mainly because they ship to APO and FPO addresses, and alot of other online stores do not. Why, I could not hazard a guess. It seems to me that they would, should, and should be ashamed that they don't - but that is another soap box for another time. Aren't these soldiers the ones protecting us??? Why wouldn't ANYONE want to send something to one of them. It's not like they have a Mikes or a Joann's on the corner of SCUD Missile Lane and IED Blvd...

Liz, I just saw this post! You are soooo sweet as always. I'm home on emergency leave for my mom's brain surgery, but I'll be back with Vince in Afghanistan soon. I'm on pins and needles thinking about the cards I made for you and what you'll think about them.
I follow Laura too! I enjoy reading about her journey and see her cards. You are such a sweetheart for sending her some goodies--I know she'll love your package!
A lot of companies won't ship to APO or FPO, my son has to ship his stuff here and I have to send it. thankgoodness for lower rate boxes. They have to pay postage
